Trust, made visible

Holiday dates you can plan around.

Government sources come first. Every date, jurisdiction, and replacement rule is reviewed before it powers our calendars and leave suggestions.

Our verification workflow

The production site will keep holiday facts deterministic and reviewable. AI may help with explanatory writing, but it will never decide official dates.

1

Find the authority

Locate the responsible government ministry, gazette, proclamation, or decree.

2

Verify coverage

Record whether the holiday is national, state-based, religious, or subject to confirmation.

3

Normalise

Convert the reviewed facts into a consistent country-and-year data schema.

4

Calculate

Apply weekends and observed-day rules to surface long-break opportunities.

Malaysia source registry

Illustrative structure only—the authoritative source research is a separate upcoming phase.

Federal public-holiday schedule

Responsible authority, publication URL, coverage, publication date, effective year, and archived copy will be stored here.

RESEARCH PENDING

State and territory holidays

Each state-specific date will retain its jurisdiction and source reference rather than being merged into a single national list.

RESEARCH PENDING

Lunar and religious confirmations

Dates subject to official sighting or proclamation will be marked as expected until confirmed by the relevant authority.

RESEARCH PENDING

Replacement and observed-day rules

The applicable legal or government guidance will be cited so the calendar can explain why an additional day is observed.

RESEARCH PENDING

Ministry of Education school calendar

Official Kumpulan A and B term dates, festival breaks, revision notices, and publication timestamps are tracked separately from public holidays.

What “last verified” means

A verification date shows when a human reviewer most recently compared our record with the primary official source. If a government later changes or confirms a date, the data and timestamp are updated together in Git.

Concept notice

All holiday dates shown across this HTML prototype are representative design content. They must not be treated as an official calendar until the source registry has been researched and reviewed.
